A few days ago after service my friend and I went to Chat Noir (or Black Cat), a petite French tea house in Rockville Centre for breakfast, and we had a really nice time. After watching bits of Funny Face (featuring Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire on a Parisan adventure) I was craving a bit of French culture and this was the closest I could get.
We ordered the Tea Service (usually 1 per person), which included petit pastries, finger sandwiches as well as 3 scones. All baked goods are made right on the premisise by the baker, and I would highly reccomend the scones, you can choose from a nice variety of flavors, we got cinammon chip and orange cranberry.
Overall it was a nice experience, not my first time going but I hadn't gone in such a long while, so it felt practically brand new.
I reccomend it for anyone interested in a dainty girly tea and scone experience!
